Anne de Bruijn followed the bachelor Pedagogical and Educational Sciences and the Research Master and master Educational Sciences in Nijmegen. Afterwards she left the south of the Netherlands to start with her PhD in the department of Educational Sciences at the University of Groningen. In her project she examines the effects of physical education on primary school students’ academic achievement and brain functioning. She is also member of the PhD council of the Faculty of Behavioral and Social Sciences.
