Annarita Viggiano

Annarita Viggiano studied Molecular Biology at the University of Rome. After an Erasmus internship at RUG, she started her PhD in the department of Molecular Microbiology, engineering filamentous fungi for the discovery and production of bioactive compounds. Her research is part of a Marie Curie Initial Training Network (ITN), which allows her to work in an international and interdisciplinary team, encouraging collaborations with other universities and industrial partners.
