This workshop has three aims: (1) to provide general information about what mindfulness is, including why it may be beneficial for dealing with stress as well as potential limits in the use of mindfulness for coping; (2) briefly review research indicating the psychological benefits of mindfulness, and (3) provide a brief experience of mindfulness practice.
