The Marie Curie Alumni Association (MCAA) is an international organisation based in Brussels, with representations all over the world via a growing number of local chapters. The Association holds a General Assembly, twinned with a public conference, once a year. Furthermore, members meet regularly at more local levels to develop further connections and to discuss developments in their fields of research. MCAA members all participated in past or current EU-funded Marie Curie programs: The Marie Skłodowska-Curie actions are now part of Horizon 2020, the EU Framework Program for Research and Innovation. We have already over 9000 registered members, and we plan to reach 10.000 by the end of this year.
Joining the MCAA is potentially beneficial for a researcher’s career. The MCAA offers micro-grants, and provides a growing range of information and supportive services through our dedicated website. MCAA membership is open and free of charge to anyone who has been (or is currently) involved in a Marie Curie EU-funded research project (including COFUND actions). To join the association, you must be a past or present Marie Curie researcher, coordinator, or supervisor. Please check out the MCAA website. If you like what you see, you can join us by clicking on the ‘Sign Up’ link in the header and fill in the webform.
Guilherme Serodio, Mostafa Moonir Shawrav, and Bala Attili will represent MCAA the PhD Day
