Hataitip Tasena started her PhD study at the Department of Pathology and Medical Biology, UMCG, in 2015. Before coming to Groningen, she obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Biology in Thailand and her Master’s in Molecular Medicine in UK. She views research as a way to combine her passion and her contribution to the future of the world. She believes that any ordinary person can create positive changes in societies and anyone who wishes to do so should start with personal development. Hence, she joined the PhD Day committee hoping to develop herself in various aspects as well as to help other PhD students develop the skills required for pursuing their dreams.
“As an advisor, I hope to pass what we learned from a wonderful success last year on to the new committee, so we can organize a PhD Day that brings even greater benefits to our participants.”
