Lorenzo Amabili, Head of Sponsorship, Italy GSSE

Lorenzo Amabili is a PhD student in the Scientific Visualization and Computer Graphics (SVCG) research group at the Johann Bernoulli Institute (JBI) for Mathematics and Computer Science of the University of Groningen.
His research aims to develop an IT tool for exploration of complex medical (imaging) data, and communication of analysis results by visual storytelling. After achieving a BSc degree in Statistics at the University of Bologna, with an Erasmus project at the University of Montpellier, Lorenzo obtained a Master’s degree in Statistics at the University of Leuven, with a thesis on Data Visualization.
