Martina Ambroz is a first year PhD student at University medical Centre Groningen. She comes from the beautiful country of Slovenia where she also finished a Master in Pharmacy.
After a few years of work in the pharmaceutical industry, her love for beer, stroopwafels, and cheese has led her to Groningen. Joking aside, she found this place due to my research ambitions and a wishto work in an international environment. She is currently working on personalized medicine in diabetes, more specifically on how to incorporate patient preferences in the treatment decisions.
Besides work, she likes to spend her free time having fun: hanging out with friends, cycling, cooking, skiing, traveling, learning Dutch and organizing PhDday 2019.
