Stefania Barzeva finished her Bachelor of Science in Psychology at the University of Georgia, after which she moved to the Netherlands to enroll in the Maastricht University Research Master, psychopathology specialization. Since September 2017, she works as a PhD researcher at the UMCG Psychiatry Department, where she investigates the links between social withdrawal and social relationships from adolescence to early adulthood, as part of the Tracking Adolescents’ Individual Lives Survey. In addition to her research and PhD Day involvement, Stefania is passionate about sustainability, learning new things every day, and improving her Dutch.
