Xinhui Wu had her bachelor study in Animal Science from China and South Korea and obtained her master degree in Animal Genetics and Reproduction in Jilin University, China. She started her PhD in a totally different area at the department of Molecular Pharmacology, University of Groningen in 2016. Her research is mainly focus on the role of cigarette smoke and air pollution in lung repair.
Xinhui loves challenges, enjoys working in an international environment and is always active being volunteers in various international events. This year, she joined the sponsor team of PhD Day 2018 as a new challenge.

“As a PhD student, I love my research and aim to look for novel therapeutic approach to help COPD patients. As a member of sponsor team, I would like to become the bridge of PhD students and industrial representatives!”
