The PhD Day 2019 will be held on Friday, 20th of September at De Oosterpoort in Groningen.
9724 DA Groningen, The Netherlands
How to reach the venue
De Oosterpoort is located just outside the city centre, within walking distance from the central railway station and from the Grote Markt, the main square of Groningen. If you come by public transport you can walk from Groningen Central Station to the venue. You can check the route below.
If you are planning to come by car we strongly advise to check this website for the latest updates on road works and delays. Unfortunately the venue does not have a garage, but there’s several parking options nearby (see below). The capacity of the garages is limited, make sure to take some extra-time into account, in case you’ll need to look for a spot somewhere else. You can pay in the parking garages using your PIN card.
- Q-Park Oosterpoort (Trompsingel 23, about 2 minutes walk)
- Q-Park Rademarkt (Rademarkt 27, about 5 minutes walk)
- P-Damsterdiep (Damsterdiep 5, about 8 minutes walk)
*A limited number of parking spaces for disabled visitors is available at the entrance to De Oosterpoort. If you have specific questions, please contact us via firstname.lastname@example.org.
