Make better science presentations!
It’s great that more scientists are interacting with the public. But the presentations that they
use when doing this are often not tailored to that audience. In this workshop, Stephan van Duin will teach you how to create a clear, beautiful science presentation. It starts with why your presentation should be clear. Then we continue with the message and the narrative that supports this. We will replace bad design conventions with practical tips that you can easily implement yourself. Stephan is co-owner of The Online Scientist, a company that helps scientists to reach out to their desired public. As science communication and societal relevance gain more emphasis in our daily work as PhD-researcher, attend his talk! The workshop will be based on the ebook ‘Cause an Effect’.
